The Freedom of Mobility
The New Life Center is building and distributing PETs throughout the Copperbelt area. Each year hundreds of these PETs are built and given out to special handicapped people around the world. This gift of mobility is for men, women, and children affected by polio, land-mine accidents, birth defects and other forms of accidents that have rendered their legs useless. It is one of the greatest gifts anyone can give. We estimate that there are over 100,000 people right here in the Zambia / Congo Copperbelt area that need one of these PETs.

It has been a real blessing to be involved with this work. Every PET that is given out changes a person's life, immediately! It is a real joy to see them transformed from being an outcast in society to a person with dignity and a means to become an independent member of their family and community.
